Today is calm and people are recovering from the aftershocks of yeatsrday's attacks around Molai.
Boko Haram insurgency has been raging across the North East since 2009 but it is largely confined to Borno State today. What measure, in your honest opinion, can the State and Borno community take to stop this crises and defeat the terrorists?
The Boko Haram insurgency is an unconventional war that takes troops into civilian areas and this makes it difficult for the troops. The usually go into remote villages to purge them of the terrorists who hold the local people hostage and live amongst them.

Boko Haram makes intensive use of communication gadgets like satellite phones and radio.

Several Bornovillages have vanish in this war; the terrorists consistently used them as hiding places to camouflage as civilians... so much so that at the end, the civilians are evacuated and the whole places destroyed to deprive Boko haram ofhiding places.

The terrorists use Motorcycles in taking terror to the villages of Borno. Some of the cycles are smuggled across the border while many were stolen from villagers.
